no... not a baby, but a very close second. Here is the newest addition to my mac family. Isn't he a beauty? Mr. Mac has been so kind to help me keep my mind off of the never-ending pregnancy, and he really is so perfect. Thank you Mr. Mac for just being you and putting a smile on my face :)
our family loves, loves, loves american idol. jason castro is my #1 favorite. so cute, he reminds me of a columbian john travolta with dreadlocks...
My skin is pretty bad during pregnancy, but this stuff (papaya enzyme facial mask) has helped out a ton. I really notice a difference when I use it. And the good news is, it doesn't cost too much and you can find it anywhere.
It's that time of year. Time to renew, re-examine, re-assess, and change yourself for the better. I am always fired up to do better, so I like to make a long list of goals and hope I can accomplish a few by the end of the year. Here's a few from my long list that I'll share:
1. Make my bed every day before I leave my room.
2. Stop eating when I'm full.
3. Practice Yoga at least 1 time a week.
4. Invite friends over for dinner once a month.
5. Run 15 miles a week. (walk when my belly's too big:)
6. Limit T.V. to 3 hours a week.
7. Take a photography course.
8. Only buy things we NEED.
9. Learn to sew my girls dresses and skirts.
10. Take a painting class.
The list goes on and on..... but I will try not to bore you.
Other than my list of goals I decided to have a couple words/ phrases/ motto to live by for this year.
I have a tendency to complicate things that are rather simple because I want things done perfectly.... be simple. ----- I am constantly running in different directions and my mind nor body ever seem to relax.... be still.
I love to wear hats. They make you look finished and hide the grease for the busy days. (Shoot... I just gave away my secret) Anyways, I was searching for hats and went into Hollister thinking they would probably have some....
I don't know why but my "good byes" post, does not seem to want to post correctly.... I'm tired of trying so hopefully you get the main idea :)
Isn't my sister awesome? Amy has experienced so many different people and places, which has made her so tolerant, compassionate, and knowledgeable. Some times it doesn't feel right calling her my baby sister. (And it really doesn't help that she's 6'1".) ......
So after a week in beautiful Del Mar, CA (pictures coming soon) we are back in the hot desert. Things have been rather hectic as our house has sold and we have 2 weeks to find a rental house and move out. So fun..... I find that I am spinning a bit out of control and could use some major organization help. Any advice for someone who has to get out of a house in 2 weeks? What's the best way to pack?....
One thing I did do with the lack of time on my hands was to find a great planner, and a very cool wall calendar. Maybe they will give me a little motivation to get going!

Angie through a great bash from her recent UNLV law grad husband. All of the details were just beautiful (no surprise there...) from the tissue flowers, to the home-grown wheat grass centerpieces, to the Congratulations banner, to the great food (my favorite was the chocolate cake). She definitely knows how to throw a perfectly put-together party and on top of that has an adorable family.... Charles is a lucky man!!...
