What could possibly be better than a day that's all about hearts, love, pink and red? Valentines Day is one of my favorites, nothing scary, no pranks, its all about love. Here's some baking pics from today.

Favorite sugar cookies of all time..... Unforgettables.... email me for the recipe...

homemade oreos... those are supposed to be powdered sugar hearts on the tops :) after I finished I thought it would have been fun to dye the frosting pink.

Christmas in Las Vegas

Ahh, I just love the holidays. We had 2 Thanksgivings dinners, and I think I have packed on 10 pounds in 1 week. But it was all worth it.... especially the yams. Now it's time for the Christmas season, and my mind is spinning. I've got Christmas cards to do, decorations to put up, presents to buy, but most importantly, I plan to enjoy the month of December and teach my children about Christmas. I've put together a list of all the holiday happenings going on in Las Vegas, so click on the image, print it out and have some fun enjoying the holidays with your family.

Fourth of July Festivities

I love the 4th of July! I love parades, BBQ's, swimming, and fireworks. I love dressing my kids in red, white, and blue. And, it's pretty much the only holiday where you don't have to buy any gifts, so it's pretty stress free. This 4th we went to our local parade, and even with the 105 degree weather it was still a lot of fun. We had a barbecue with some friends and Chad had a great time lighting off some "not so legal" fireworks because everyone else was too nervous to. Happy Birthday America!
Jackson especially loved Darth Vader and the Storm Troopers (what's more American than Star Wars!)
Taylor walked the whole parade route (almost 2 miles!)
